CB Flooring is a private, locally owned and operated company headquartered in Columbia, Maryland. The name "CB Flooring" was founded in 1997 by Chuck and Carol Bode and was previously known as "Bode Floors" since 1976. Chuck and Carol have been doing business in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia markets for over 35 years now and are currently one of the largest privately owned flooring contractors in the country with a sales volume that exceeded $60 million in 2012.

CB Flooring has three commercial divisions located in Columbia, MD, Harrisburg, PA, and Chantilly, VA. We have two warehouses located at our headquarters in Columbia, MD as well as Harrisburg, PA.

Our company is broken into three distinct business entities including homebuilder, commercial, and residential. Our homebuilder business caters to the new home construction market both detached and multifamily, which supplies and installs material such as carpet, vinyl, hardwood, laminate, ceramic, and marble for many of the top local and national homebuilders.

Our commercial division handles a large variety of floor covering products for general contractors, the public sector, private developers and government.

Our third division is our retail business, Bode Floors, which is a subsidiary of CB Flooring. Bode Floors sells directly to the public and has three showrooms located in Howard County (Oak Hall & Gerwig Lane) and Ellicott City, which specialize in occupied residential flooring remodeling – including flooring such as carpet, vinyl, laminate and pre-finished hardwood.

With over 30 salespeople between our commercial and residential division and a large labor force, CB Flooring’s market is continuing to grow.
